Welcome! Let me be the first to congratulate you on starting this journey towards self-discovery and optimal living! As a life-long resident of Central New York, I know that life can change just as fast as the seasons do around here. I earned my bachelors of science in psychology at Cazenovia College, with honors, in 2011. My motivation was to learn as much as possible about what makes people tick. From there, I completed my graduate degree at Syracuse University, earning a Masters Degree in Social Work in 2013. The world became bigger, issues became more complicated, and I became more passionate about providing direct, clinical services to anyone brave enough to reach out. I have worked successfully in community-based programs, foster care programs, domestic violence programs, and a fast paced community outpatient mental health clinic.
I love working with anyone experiencing a major life transition: changing jobs, expecting parents, moving cities, graduating, grieving losses, and everything in between. It's the turbulence in life that can show us what we're made of! I am trained in several modalities including EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), motivational interviewing, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, child-centered play therapy, and exposure-response prevention. I know every person is different and every session is different. Together, you and I will create a unique, boutique blend of skills and modalities to best serve you! So let's get started!
